During her talk Elena Rodina shared with TARC community her observations based on digital ethnography and personal communications with journalists an other media professionals on how the field of independent media in Russia is transforming it organizational forms and the whole range of professional activities due to the war and ongoing repressions in Russia. Elena talked about how journalists, those who were forced to leave the country and those who still remain in Russia, continue their work in the new conditions, what risks and challenges they face in their work, what is happening to media and propaganda in Russia in general, and about possible scenarios for the future of the Russian media.
