FEMCORUS Team participated in the Seventh annual Tartu Conference on East European and Eurasian Studies. The conference took place on 11-13 June 2023 in Tartu, Estonia.
Galina Miazhevich and Saara Ratilainen presented their work under the title “Russian-Tadzhik singer Manizha: Witnessing and feminist positionality at times of war“. Daniil Zhaivoronok’s presentation was titled “Opposition to war and dilemmas of mediated feminist activism“. All presentations were a part of the conference’s panel “TA3: Feminist and LGBTQ+ activism in and outside of Russia in times of war”.
