Teemme Vectoramassa tutkimusta tapahtuman kulttuurisesta merkityksestä ja saavutettavuudesta. Tämä on osa laajempaa tutkimusta, jonka tavoite on selvittää, millaisia merkityksiä erilaisilla pelitapahtumilla on järjestäjilleen, osallistujilleen ja laajemmalle ympäristölleen. Vectoramassa toteutamme havainnointia (minkä yhteydessä teemme muistiinpanoja sekä otamme valokuvia ja videoita tapahtumassa) ja teemme lyhyen verkkokyselyn tapahtuman osallistujille. Myöhemmin teemme tutkimushaastattelun tapahtuman järjestäjien kanssa.

We are conducting research at Vectorama about the event’s cultural impact and accessibility. This is part of a larger study aiming to find out what kind of meanings and significance different types of game events hold for their organisers, participants, and wider environments. In Vectorama, we will make observations of the event (which includes taking notes, photos, and videos), and we will conduct a short online survey with event participants. Later, we will also conduct a research interview with the event’s organisers.
