Studies political value congruence between millennials and their parents in Finland;
Challenges classical theories on political value transmission in families by developing and testing a theoretical model of postmodern intergenerational value transmission, which considers recent changes in political cleavages, parenting styles, family structures, and the growing ethnic diversity of Finnish society;
Investigates the intersections of gender, social class, ethnic background, and social milieu in value transmission.
