13:30 – Arrival and Coffee
- Welcome coffee, light refreshments and icebreaking
14:00 – Opening Remarks & Introductions
- Some words from the project representatives; JAES and our dean
- Each doctoral researcher introduce themselves (1 minute per person max + mention their supervisors present in the room)
14:40 – CONVERGENCE Student Research Expositions
- Format: Cocktail party style discussions
- Presenters have 10 minutes for their presentation in a poster-like style + 3-5 additional minutes to chat
- Two general-knowledge discussions will run simultaneously with non-overlapping topics
- Drinks and snacks are available during the talks
18:00-19:00 – Panel Discussion [depending on the excitement of presenters and audience]
- Migration to a lounge space + terrace
- Panelists: Representatives from industry, academia, and JAES
- Format: Discussion on the significance of multidisciplinary research, future directions, and opportunities for collaboration
Closing Remarks and Evening Program
Recap of key takeaways, acknowledgment of participants, expressions of gratitude, followed by drinks and music
