We are excited to announce that one of our talented students will be teaching our course on Communication and Intelligent Technologies (VI.200). The course is called Communication and Intelligent Technologies. It is designed to give students tools to navigate the interface between communication and Artificial Intelligence. The course provides basic knowledge of AI, latest research and practical examples by industry professionals. Additionally, the students get the chance to participate in research by designing their own political moderator bots.
This course goes beyond theory, diving into the real-world impact of artificial intelligence on communication, work, and ethics. Students will explore how intelligent technologies influence communication, gain insights into the latest research, and develop ideas for applying AI in both interpersonal and professional communication settings. They will examine AI’s role in communication and its effects on the field, while also discovering innovative ways to integrate AI into communication tasks and research. In addition, they will critically evaluate the ethical challenges that arise at the intersection of AI and communication.
By the end of the course, students will not only grasp the complexities of AI-driven communication but also be equipped to apply their knowledge in meaningful and responsible ways.
