We’re proud to share that Jurgis Peters recently took part in the inaugural Riga Contemporary Art Fair (RIGAF), contributing to a growing global conversation at the intersection of art, science, and technology.
As part of the fair’s public program, he moderated the panel “Art, Science, and AI”—a timely discussion featuring artist-researchers Raitis Šmits, Katja Novitskova, and Liga Spunde. Together, the panel explored how artistic perspectives are increasingly influencing scientific discourse, and how Generative AI is reshaping the boundaries of both fields.
The event, organized by Kim? Contemporary Art Centre, brought together 40 galleries from Europe, the USA, and Asia, and featured a dynamic two-day program filled with insightful talks, new media installations, and boundary-pushing contemporary work. It was a clear sign that art and technology-driven practices are gaining momentum and recognition on the global stage.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this exciting and forward-thinking event—and we’re already looking ahead to next year’s edition!
