Our researcher recently attended the DELTA Network Summer School 2025 in Turku, Finland, an event that brought together PhD students, academics, and industry experts to exchange ideas on digital hardware, sensing technologies, machine learning, and wireless communication.
At the workshop, Ninja presented the group’s latest work on piezoelectric sensors for electronic skin (e-skin). The talk was part of the Measurement, Communication and Sensing session and highlighted new approaches to advancing e-skin through sensor array fabrication.
The program featured an impressive mix of student presentations and keynote lectures. Topics ranged from trustworthy machine learning with real-world sensor data, to innovations driving industry growth, to the evolving role of AI in ICT engineering and careers. Engaging discussions and constructive feedback offered valuable perspectives for future research directions.
Overall, the DELTA Network Summer School proved to be a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, networking, and inspiration. Ninja returned with fresh ideas, strengthened collaborations, and new motivation to continue advancing work in next-generation e-skin technology.
