As part of the COFIRD – Co-creation for Finnish-Indian R&D project’s India tour, the COFIRD consortium participated in the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. The team took part in the high-profile panel “Co-Innovation for Future Technologies: Opportunities in AI, University R&D, Mobility and EMS”, highlighting opportunities for Finnish-Indian collaboration in cutting-edge research and innovation.
The panel discussion emphasized how Finland and India are leveraging their strengths to co-develop advanced technologies across areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), sustainable mobility, energy management systems (EMS), and university-driven research. The session also explored the growing role of deep-tech startups in bridging research and industry, fostering cross-border innovation.

“Innovation knows no borders,” noted the COFIRD delegation. The discussion showcased how Finnish and Indian ecosystems are joining hands to create the next wave of global technology breakthroughs, from collaborative R&D projects to market-ready solutions in mobility, AI, and advanced manufacturing.

Participation at the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 reinforced COFIRD’s mission to build strong Finnish-Indian co-creation platforms, connecting universities, research institutions, and industry partners to accelerate technological progress and foster sustainable innovation.
