Climate hope and climate anxiety: Affective literature education and climate fiction

This research project focuses on ecocritical children’s literature and literature education.

The project examines climate anxiety and climate hope in children’s and young adult fiction, and how these themes can be thought in literature education. The first phase of the project has studied climate related questions in picturebooks and yound adult novels. The second phase will focus on how these questions are dealt with in literature classrooms.
