The first year of the CAREFIT project is coming to an end, and the summer holidays are approaching. Before heading into the holidays, it’s a good time to give a brief update of the research project.
We have begun analyzing the survey data collected in the spring, and several research articles focusing on the health and well-being of older informal caregivers are currently in progress. We will share the results of these studies later, for example, through this website and the CAREFIT project’s Facebook page.
In addition, we are currently conducting group interviews with older informal caregivers to gather more in-depth information about their health and well-being. Since a large number of caregivers signed up for interviews during the spring online survey, we plan to continue the interviews in the upcoming autumn. We would like to warmly thank all the caregivers who have already participated in the interviews!
