The AI-SIM project’s fourth steering group meeting was held in September 2025 in Tampere. Topical themes included in the meeting were related to the work already done in the project, planning of future tasks, and financial matters of the project. Additionally, plans regarding international collaboration and sharing and publishing of the research results were discussed.
The meeting continued into the project workshop, where recent developments and research results were discussed by the project partners. The presentations were started by Integrata, as the results of their AI pilot project were introduced. Following that, research results from Tampere University were presented. First, doctoral researcher Abul Jyote gave a presentation about a survey research regarding the use of AI in Purchasing and Supply Management. A recent interview study was then introduced by Ella Koivisto through the results of her master’s thesis: AI-driven Supplier Performance Management: Natural Language Processing applications.
